What kind of shelf life does your self heating food have?

Normally a Ready to eat Hot Pack meal has a 42 month best before date a the time of manufacture.

Most of our customers ask for at least 1 to 2 years, so normally they have plenty of time to use them.

It is a best before date, which is different to a use by date.

Storing them at extreme temperatures can effect the best before date
