Can I use ordinary water to activate the heater or is the water in the sachet specially treated?

The activating sachet contains ordinary tap water. The important thing is not to over-saturate the heater with water. The sachet contains 40 ml (1.5 oz.) of water. If you use other water add only to the fill line as shown on the sleeve.
